I'm sorry ... do I know you?

How amusing ... apparently, someone has taken members of the "Lock those fuckers up in Gitmo and throw away the key" Canadian wankerhood, and replaced them with folks who are all about civil rights and due process and socialist, leftard, moonbat stuff like that there.

Right-wing trolls will, of course, have no idea what I'm talking about.

No, Cynic. "Right-wing trolls" read you like a cheap novel.

Neither the Northwest Canadian Mounted Police nor its progeny, the RCMP, was organized to keep Canadian PGG's under control; it was organized to keep the foreigners and labor unions and all other brown people under control. Why can't you understand that? This is obviously an abuse under the Charter.

Huh?..The Charter?...What?..

It's true...Reading The Politic makes everyone dumber. I decided, after Balbulican's comment over there, not to follow this any further. All of this could simply be the result of one of the Byfield clan, or some other delusional wingnut being over-medicated or under-medicated.

Given that the only source for this story appears to be an e-mail that has been bubbling around the web, I'm going to take it as being closer to the "I saw a UFO" claim than actual reality.

Something that disruptive tends to make headlines - the ERT and Tactical teams don't get called out for kicks.

That's probably true, unfortunately. Judging from their level of comprehension and general inability to communicate, my sense is that right-wing trolls read EVERYTHING like a cheap novel - presumably a sad consequence of poor schooling, a home environment unsupportive of good literacy skills, and perhaps (certainly not in all cases, I'm sure) some cognitive problems.
