Is that your final answer, Steve?

So, we started wih this (all emphasis added):

Harper promises shorter, guaranteed waits for health care

A Conservative government would reduce waiting times for health-care services and guarantee they're enforced, party Leader Stephen Harper said on Friday.

That was followed mysteriously by this:

Stephen Harper's new game: Hide-the-Priority

What happened to establishing a wait-times guarantee? That promise has disappeared

The fifth item in his list was never among the five priorities the Conservatives campaigned on. The fifth Conservative campaign priority was: "work with the provinces to establish a Patient Wait Times Guarantee." Harper has replaced it with this business about "strengthening our country."

Ah, well ... third time's a charm, right, Steve?

No hard promise for wait time guarantees

Health Minister Tony Clement has signalled the government will not be able to deliver a national patient wait-time guarantee before the next election, but is claiming "leadership, progress and momentum" based on federal pilot projects that have upset the provinces.

Tune in next month when Stephen Harper announces, "Wait times? Never heard of them. Thanks for coming."
