When reality is just too much of a burden.

Oh, the fun you can have with a search engine:

G-damned, fucking liberal sons of whores. They have finally done it. Rumsfeld is resigning. I hope they are happy. Why don't they just invited the gawd-blessed terrorists to come to America?

Son of a bitch. Motherfucker. Christ on a stick. Let's just all roll over and play dead. I am so pissed at W for allowing him to resign.

Although I'm sure you can appreciate the intellectual level of that blog by its first comment:

Can you explain it in simple terms to a not-politically involved person who doesn't watch TV or read the newspapers, what is happening? I don't have any idea even who Rumsfeld is really other than knowing his name and that he's famous goverment person wise.

Um ... yeah. He's kind of famous. At least, most of the Muslim world knows who he is. Apparently, those towelheads like to stay up on current events, like who's responsible for blasting them into kibble and killing their kids. They're curious that way.

Dear Nightingale,
It's quite easy actually. You merely have to be able to walk through holding ponds for cattle and pig farms. They pop to the surface almost magically. Admittedly, being able to hold your breath for long periods of time is a definite asset.

Say CC, what are the blogging tories saying about the election results? The hilarious quote below from Declan at Crawl Across the Ocean got me wondering about how those wanking rascals were dealing with defeat, but I'm sure as hell not going to venture over there by myself. Time for an election-related BT ShortTakes, perhaps??

"First of all, a cheer for the American voters who delivered a huge victory to the Democrats in the midterm elections, a result which will meet with universal acclaim here in Canada (progressives welcome the result, and right-wing folks are too touchy about anti-Americanism to criticize anything that happens there)."
