Over at MyDD, Chris Bowers has a summary of the GOP implosion, but here's the most eye-opening observation:
Republicans shut out: No House, Senate, or Governor pickups for Republicans. That breaks every record for futility. No one can ever do worse than they did this year.
Is that correct? Was there not a single one of those seats that changed hands from Democrat to Republican? That's pretty astonishing. I'm not sure it's even possible to get bitch-slapped more thoroughly than that.

Uh-huh. They better be damn glad the presidency wasn't up for grabs this year. I was told not to gloat, but HHAHAHAHA! Maybe its OK here.
