A little late to the party.

Spent most of the weekend away from the keyboard so this came as a bit of a surprise:

U.S. to push for Mideast ceasefire
Will seek a UN Security Council resolution this week

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Monday she will push for a cease-fire and a "lasting settlement" in the conflict between Lebanon and Israel through a UN Security Council resolution this week.

I'm sorry ... I turn my back for a couple of days and, suddenly, the U.S. is trying to work with the U.N. Security Council?? When the hell did that start?

Kindasleazy is beginning to realize she looks incompetent. Now if only Prince George the Ineffective could be half as smart as the poor coloured girl the neo-cons are shitting on, the world might get somewhere.

Qana 1 was the trigger for 9/11, wht will Qana 2 engender?

Note that a "lasting settlement" is completely independent of a cease-fire. If one side wipes the other out, then it can be seen as a lasting settlement.
