You wanted 29? You got it.

Gosh, it was only two days ago that I was fantasizing about President Smirky McChimpster's approval rating dropping below 30 per cent. As the saying goes, ask and ye shall receive:

President Bush’s job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest mark of his presidency, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. Of 1,003 U.S. adults surveyed in a telephone poll, 29% think Mr. Bush is doing an “excellent or pretty good” job as president, down from 35% in April and significantly lower than 43% in January.

Cue the citizens of Wankerville, explaining how 73 per cent of polls are slightly or very misleading and, besides, there was that blowjob thing ...

These polls do nothing for me except make me more depressed. What the hell were they thinking when they voted for Bush 18 months ago? The only competency these hacks ever demonstrate is winning elections -- given how easily the voting public can be conned I have zero confidence Congress and/or the Senate will become Democrat this Fall. If these institutions don't turn nothing will change and there is still 2+ years left. Oh and by the way Raw Story is reporting that two more aircraft carriers are going to the middle east and air strikes on Iran could happen sooner than later.

I think i'll get drunk.

Yeah, the Brits are just the folks to be going on about electing total buffoons as leaders, aren't they?
