Liberals and ethics: Like oil and water.

And the Liberals (both provincially and federally) continue to put bullets in the gun and hand it to their opponents:

McGuinty stands by Transport Minister

Ontario Transportation Minister Harinder Takhar will remain in cabinet despite an official finding that he broke the province's integrity rules by appointing a close associate to manage his personal business affairs.

In a scathing report released yesterday, Ontario Integrity Commissioner Coulter Osborne concludes that Mr. Takhar violated provincial rules and parliamentary convention by allowing the trustee for his blind trust to remain in that post after he was appointed treasurer of his riding association.

The commissioner also says Mr. Takhar was "egregiously reckless" for attending a meeting last April at his family-owned business in Mississauga. However, he said there is no "clear and compelling" evidence that the minister was involved in managing the business.

I think I'm just going to vote Green and get it over with.
