Flying the not-so-friendly skies.

"... and from our Washington, D.C.-based flight crew, thanks so much for flying Air Torture. Buh bye."

My favourite part:

Stephen Hadley, an adviser to Ms. Rice, said this weekend that she will defend the use of secret prisons "in a comprehensive way," that prisoners are not tortured and that the United States will not alter its transport and treatment of terrorism suspects.

Then maybe, just maybe, Canada could tell Rice that the U.S. can keep its rendition planes out of Canadian airspace. It's a good thing we here in Canada have leaders with the cojones to stand up to those thugs in Washington and ... and ...

Oh, fuck it.

SAY WHAT? There's an additional article about the mystery landing in Bar River, Ontario, in which a Bar River airport official does some really, really ugly things to the English language thusly:

"I suggest you don't pursue this any further," said the official, who asked not to be named. "I have no knowledge of any CIA aircraft."

Translation: It would be really unwise of you to continue this line of questioning related to something that I assure you I know nothing about. Really.
