Some disgruntled CBC types, it would seem ...

Results of a google search.
I started publicbroadcasting.ca to do a couple of things. One is to have a discussion about the future of public broadcasting generally - in terms of content, technology, relevance to society etc.,
The other is to promote public broadcasters generally and, if the purpose of public broadcasting is to tell Canadian stories, by Canadians and for Canadians then blogging, podcasting and soon vidcasting should be a part of that - whether it is done by formal broadcasters (CBC or others) or individual Canadians doing it because they have something to say.
I am not 'disgruntled' at all, I am hopeful about the future of public broadcasting, and hopeful that it's evolution will begin soon and with a minimum of resistance. In creating the politics section I tried to get a good cross-section of opinions to start with. If, for some reason, you do not want to be included please let me know and I'll be happy to remove your blog from the list.
Cheers,
Justin
