"A lie for a just cause." George Bush and Doughy Pantload.

Well, is this timely or what? We have the LA Times' new neo-con attack poodle and war cheerleader Jonah Goldberg, discussing whether or not George lied and, if he did, well, so what?

STOP ME IF YOU'VE heard this already. But there are people out there — honest, decent, sincere people and deranged moonbats, too — who think that George W. Bush lied about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein. No, seriously, it's true. "Bush lied, people died" is one of their catchier slogans.

Given that Doughy couldn't get through the first paragrah of his first column without referring to "deranged moonbats," I think we have a pretty good idea that it's all downhill from here.

(Gee, someone else is annoyed with Doughy Pantload. Go figure.)

I write a personal blog. Jonah Goldberg writes on the op-ed page of the LA Times.

You're telling me you don't understand the difference?
