It's official: Pennsylvania is smarter than Kansas.


And while Kansas was crawling slowly back into the primordial ooze, Pennsylvania was demonstrating how to handle fundamentalist dingbats.

This also goes to show how important it is to find out about local candidates and their views before you vote (not so easy to do in some areas, where local news coverage is spotty and and beholden to local power). The school boards mark the beginnings of political careers that will feed later state and national elections.
