And the Canadian Ralph Reed is ... Ralph Reed!

Oh, this should be good. Apparently, the best way for Canadian wingnuts to bolster their credibility is to emulate their clinically insane and pathologically dishonest American counterparts. Good thinking, guys. And I hear you can appeal to the younger crowd by setting fire to live kittens in public. Really, trust me.

But before you get too cranked up about taking advice from Reed, you might want to ask him about that whole Jack Abramoff/Indian gaming scandal. Oh, come on, you know ... this one. That's the sort of thing that tends to put a damper on your whole "moral high ground" shtick.

BY THE WAY, it's not clear if any of the mainstream media plan on covering this right-wing wankfest but, if you hear they are, make sure you educate them ahead of time on some of Reed's seamier activities.

You know, just drop a note to the Globe, the Star and so on. Make damned sure that none of these media folks can whine later that they never knew about any of this.
