Oh, no. I've been upbraided.


However shall I handle the stinging critique? Oh, wait. It's not a problem after all since I really don't care. Whew. That was a close one.

i'm so silly. here i was thinking that crucifixion was the numero uno, big time christian fashion statement for martyrdom. when will i ever learn...

In Christianity, crucifixion was reserved for Jesus. It was done regularly before his death. Sure, people do reenactments, but even St. Peter opted to be crucified upside down because he did not think it was 'appropriate'.

I am just saying that beheadings = martyrdom.

Crucifixion, on the other hand, carries a different meaning.

Maybe you should go check out sunday school sometime :o
