It's not nice to make fun of someone's looks.
So it's more than a little classless to refer you to the Second District of Ohio's new congresswoman Jean Schmidt like this.
And given that appalling lack of taste on my part, it's only fair to give you Schmidt at her best, on her own campaign web site.
OK, I'm still kinda creeped out.

Yeah, she's no prize, but then neither are Pelosi, Hillary, Tereeeeeeza, Helen Thomas...
And female politicians are belittled in this way far more often than male politicians, by liberals and conservatives alike. For example, the previous commenter's list of examples contains only women...
