I'm pretty sure Jonah didn't mean to sound THAT stupid.


From the safety of his trusty keyboard, we have Jonah Goldberg, explaining why he thinks having an open season on cats is just a peachy-keen idea:

Well, the inconvenient truth is that cats kill more American birds, particularly songbirds, than DDT and pesticides ever did.

So, cats should be considered a bigger problem since they're responsible for more deaths.

By that logic, then, since tobacco kills far more people than does marijuana (or cocaine, for that matter), we can conclude ...

Nah. I'm pretty sure that's not what Jonah had in mind.
